|  | DICOM-calibratable Large Screen Colour LCD Displays
The DICOM standards enables the exchange and viewing of the same image information on different output devices with the same inherent image content and quality. Both NEC’s MULTEOS models (40” and 46”) and the MultiSync® 20 Series (52” and 65”) come with the DICOM mode to allow the standardised reproduction of medical images. The displays are therefore also ideal as a light box simulator in lecture halls or medical demo rooms, to enable a reliable electronic system for viewing.
GammaCompMD QA compatibility
From July 2008, using the GammaCompMD software, the NEC MulitSync® 20s and MULTEOS series will be able to reproduce image content calibrated to DICOM standard, which is even more exact than the user-defined DICOM mode. Furthermore the GammaCompMD QA software allows reporting of all the data and completed modifications made to installed displays, as well as quality assurance (QA) in line with the IPEM/AAPM TG 18 and DINV6868-57 standards.
