NEC GammaCompMD Administrator Suite
Managing the life-time quality of primary diagnostic, secondary diagnostic and review displays within a hospital or trust wide deployment of PACS is essential in providing excellent patient care.
Based upon the vast experience gained over the many years of developing high quality displays for critical environments, NEC has produced a range of Quality Control procedures and DICOM conformance tests combined within GammaCompMD. GammaCompMD is provided with all NEC MD and MDview Series products.
GammaCompMD gives healthcare and IT professionals all the tools needed to provide peace of mind and reduced life time costs over their whole display estate.
In a few simple steps GammaCompMD Client allows the user to:
- Check display status – current temperature, estimated backlight life, current brightness
- Check PACS display information – serial number, date of last calibration, date of last conformance check
- Automate – time to next conformance test or calibration
- Perform conformance check and re-calibration to DICOM
- Check luminance uniformity across display
- Match pairs or copy display performance settings from one display to another
- Generate reports of QC tests performed to AAPM TG18 and DIN 6868-57 guidelines
Full Newtwork Scalability for remote access
The NEC GammaCompMD Administrator software architecture is fully scalable, from standalone use on single workstations to workgroup network configurations to enterprise-wide control/reporting systems with up to 1000 PACS Workstations, located in multiple places and using WAN connectivity.
The GammaCompMD Administrator network concept is based on SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol). All components run on a single Server system and support one Administrator. The GammaCompMD Server part is provided with different license configurations to fit the needs of the individual installation.
Displays can be checked remotely for DICOM conformance and calibration initiated if necessary utilising NEC’s SentryDX remote calibrator.
