Colour Display Systems for use as secondary displays – NEC MDview Series

In hospital wide deployment of PACS, not all departments can justify the high cost of diagnostic quality Grayscale displays, but do not want to risk deploying standard colour LCD displays and compromise patient care. NEC MDview series colour displays in conjunction with NEC’s GammaCompMD software, offers the quality assurance required. Where conformance to the DICOM Part 14 reference for displays is required the MDview Series from NEC is the perfect solution. All MDview products are delivered with NEC GammaCompMD software that enables them to be re-calibrated precisely to ensure consistent diagnostic image accuracy for the usable life of the product. The NEC MDview series comprises 19”, 20.1”, 21.3”  and 25.5” displays and feature DICOM Part 14 conformance tests, quality-control audit reporting, and ambient light sensors. When used in conjunction with NEC MD Diagnostic displays or as part of a hospital wide deployment of PACS displays, NEC MDview products can be centrally quality controlled in accordance with AAPM TG18 guidelines, DIN 6868-57 standard and IPEM Report 91 guidelines.
