Support for the Munich Parents’ Association for Children with Cancer Charity (Elterninitiative krebskranke Kinder München e.V.)

As a part of the global “NEC Make-a-Difference Drive”, NEC Display Solutions is proud to support the amazing work of the registered charity Munich Parents’ Association for Children with Cancer.

The charity was founded in 1985 by parents affected by children suffering from cancer, with the aim of offering comprehensive support to children ill with cancer, as well as their parents and siblings. Over the years, the charity has become an important partner with the children’s oncology ward at Munich’s Schwabing Hospital. The charity’s numerous projects range from hospital schooling, to advice on nutrition, through to the financing of doctors, nurses and psychologists.

The total donations which have been collected through the efforts of NEC Display Solutions’ employees by staging, for example, a raffle to win a monitor and a charity marathon run, have been generously rounded up by the business’ senior management. In addition, the company also doubled-up the funds raised by all the NEC runners who took part in the company’s Munich fun run.
